Beautiful, WARM Atlantic Waters
Funny how the kids gravitate towards water-craft....Thanks Eric. Below is all us girls. Kathy and Robby invited us over to their River house, and we had a wonderful time visiting- it's been two years after all- and it was great to catch-up with everybody. So, there was Kathy and Robby with Sonny, Allison with McKenna and Jackson, Shane and Leah with Bren and Aria, Tom and Liesl with Sydney and fiance-Dave, Eric, and Daniel. And Mom, Dad, Me, Chad, Caroline and Logan. There was yummy food, and even better camaraderie-couldn't have asked for a better day.

Saw Granddaddy in his home-sad, but sweet. He wasn't too bad this day, and seemed to know who I was, and loved being around the kids-but was unable to connect them to me.
Here's my honey doing some tree-work for Mom and Dad. It's been a very long time since he had done this. Turned out terrific-despite the sultry temperatures.
Some of Donna's yummy cheesecake...almost gone! Thanks Donna...sorry I forgot to take photos of all of their family that evening. But, we had a wonderful time.
Here we're visiting with Mike and Eva, and Luke and Sandy. Again, it was so nice to visit with friends, and-of course-there was yummy food....this is definitely becoming a pattern.
Visiting with Haley and Kevin, Lance and Lakelyn- lots of fun...the kids get along great.
The Beach House:
Shane, Bren and Aria came down for a day...And Jamison came down from NY to visit too....
I
We got to visit with Grandmama and Uncle Winston too-that was a special treat-we haven't seen him in years. I think Grandmama is one of the best persons in the world-- Copper thinks so too.
We met Aunt Ann, Uncle Mark, and Jason came from Charlotte for the evening. It was real good to see them all again too.
Jamison's last day we decided to play a little putt-putt. It was very hot and humid-love the kids' expressions...
Putt-putt over!!! Time for some public water fountain play. Ahh...the pleasures of romping in squirting chlorinated water while fully clothed. Really-the joys of being a kid, and being happy in the moment.
Can't have a family trip without some family game time-in this case-Hearts. Here are the results of the last session before we left, for posterity's sake:
Driving to the airport...even Copper realizes it's bitter-sweet. Thanks Mom and Dad for a wonderful vacation-there's nothing like family and friends to fill the heart with delight.
