So, our newest addition, Caiden Reed Dykstra was born on September 17, 2011. He arrived so fast, we almost didn't make it to the hospital. In fact, the nurses refered to us as a "stop and drop!" My water broke that morning at about 7:30, the contractions started around 9:00, and ne was born at 10:24 am. He weighed 7 pounds 11 ounces, and was 21 inches long.
So far, he's a good baby, who doesn't fuss very much-but, of course, he's only 2 weeks old. His eyes are a dark blue right now and he has dark brown hair. He has a very health appetite too. Isabelle wants to love on him all the time, and kisses him while I nurse. But, she still tries to touch his eyes, and her "cuddling/hugging" him is more like laying on him, so we have to watch her with him. Logan and Caroline are great helpers, which is great because school mornings have to be carefully choreographed in order to get out of the door on time.

Thank you for the wonderful update on your new precious package! Just picturing you on the school mornings... oh yeah, brings back some memories! Am proud of you all, and may Jehovah be with you!
